Requirements:

- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license and certification.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities:

1. *Assessment and Diagnosis:*
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech and language abilities.
- Diagnose speech and language disorders, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language processing issues.
2. *Intervention and Therapy:*
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each student.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in one-on-one and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices.
3. *Collaboration:*
- Work closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and other professionals to integrate speech and language goals into the educational curriculum.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.
4. *Parent and Community Engagement:*
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and provide strategies for support at home.
- Conduct workshops and information sessions to raise awareness about speech and language development among parents and staff.
5. *Documentation and Reporting:*
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and student progress.
- Prepare reports and documentation for evaluation and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
