Job description
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Math Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in mathematics to students. The teacher will ensure students develop a strong foundation in mathematical concepts while promoting a love for learning.
Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
Valid State of Michigan Teaching Certificate - Math Endorsement
Demonstrated skills in the use of technology
Ability and willingness to work in a team setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of the academic, social, and emotional needs of students is required.
Additional Qualifications:
Skilled with documenting services provided to students
Ability to balance a caseloads and meet deadlines for paperwork requirements

Key Areas of Responsibility
Prepare for each class (Annual plan, Unit plans, a syllabus, plan lessons, correct papers, conversations with parents & students) Submit weekly Lesson Plans
Prepare and Lead Parent Teacher Conferences (3 times a year)
Attend all Faculty Meetings
Develop and Execute a Classroom Management Strategy – maintain discipline & a positive atmosphere in the classroom Learn and utilize the on-line grading system
